ok. seriously behind with the blogging.
this is awful.

right now i have a tooth ache. it started at the upper rear of my mouth and this evening it's shifted to the lower right side. probably an infection. nothing seems to help the pain except for salt water rinses and that only lasts for a short time. i took some ibuprofin. oh, and a vicodin to help me sleep. i hope i can last well enough through the night til i can get to the dentist tomorrow am.

oh, so a couple nights ago, (wed) i won tickets to teatro zinzanni. i was excited about it because i was going to send my parents. but as it turns out, the tickets were for that night and i only found out at a little after 16h30 which means there was no time to get ready and make it on time - not with the traffic up to SF to deal with. I rang up [info]fd_midori and [info]sfracerx to see if they wanted to go but they couldn't so i handed the tix off to Samar.

Today has been a pretty shitty day in general. 3 of my shoots booked for the UK ended up canceling due to one reason or another.
Right now, I'm now not working until i get to Amsterdam for the Clinic Party after the Paris Demonia party on Thursday. I'm just about tempted to cancel out on the entire thing since my other paid shoots for my return to the UK on Dec 15 have also decided to pull out (due to unforeseen xmas expenses). This excuse always seems a bit weak though, considering xmas happens the same time each year.

Thing is, my eurostar ticket and my flight from Amsterdam to London are already purchased. (as well as my flight to the UK Nov 27). But maybe bailing on all of it is a good idea - and maybe a lot less stressful. Although I will need to cancel my Clinic performance and any plans for Torture Garden NYE. UGH.
oh and i'd be missing Samppa & Aneta's wedding too. crap.

Because the internet is made out of people: this was The Friday Telescreen 2009. These are the readers of warrenellis.com.

Thanks to all who sent in photos, and especial thanks to the three hundred people whose photos I just couldn’t fit in. Sorry. Next year I’ll do a weeklong thing again, and get everybody in.

Have a good weekend.

So, Kat insisted on going to the midnight showing of New Moon. Being the good husband, I accompanied her. Parking was easy to find (I have a knack for finding spots), there were too many people, we ended up with horrible seats (third row, too far to the right of the screen). Even with these hindrances, I had a good time. I must admit to liking New Moon more than Twilight.

We got home close to 3am. I am currently at work, living on coffee. Kat took today off and has actually ended up going out to Forks with some friends. She'll be back tomorrow night after stopping in Port Angeles to eat at Bella Italia.

I am planning on sleeping. A lot.

Current Location: work

Ok, so this is just a comment from a thread in Metafilter that I thought was funny enough to pass along to everyone. The names have been changed to protect the guilty:

"Dear XXXX:

This is your future self, writing to you from the future. Yes, we still use pens! Okay, here's the deal. All those mistakes you're going to make? Don't make them.

On second thought, if you don't make those mistakes, then why would I be writing this letter? I mean, think about. Let's say you didn't make any mistakes and just kicked ass from then until now. Then I'd be on a yacht somewhere off of Majorca instead of this crap apartment in Topeka.

So I guess I'll just say: way to go, asshole. You're gonna mess my life up one way or the other and there's nothing much I can do to stop it, now is there?

Ass."

Surprisingly, that's pretty much what I'd send to my 1989-self. Only different. If you know what I mean.
